The new Dell pocket tablet has arrived

THE Dell Streak 5 pocket tablet is now available in the local market. Sporting a five-inch LCD screen, it has all the functions required of a tablet and a smartphone.

In terms of specs, the tablet runs on Android 2.2, and has a rear-facing 5MP camera (front facing VGA), 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, native social media applications, and expandable Micro SD memory up to 32GB.

Other highlights include GPS with Google Maps and multimedia with HD video support. Dell has added its own user interface, called Stage, comprising different panels that provide users with instant access to their contacts, emails, recent applications, music, recent web pages and also their Facebook and Twitter feeds. Dell Streak 5 is retailed at RM2,099 and is available via Dynamic Distribution Sdn Bhd. The package will include cable, charger, dell battery, headset and 16GB microSD card.
